Praise Report
Three weeks ago tonight (1-21-2007) as we were dismissing our Sunday night service I experienced severe chest pains, I made my way to my office, and from there my son and wife took me to our local hospital.
The EKG let them know that I was having a heart attack they took me by ambulance to Oakwood Main hospital in Dearborn, MI. where a team was waiting to perform an emergency heart cath.
They found a 99% blockage on the right main artery where they placed a stint, also two more arteries had 70-85% blockage.
I was released two days later to rest at home, my wife and daughter made sure that was all I would do.
This past Thursday I went back to the hospital to have another heart cath, and more stints to open the other arteries.
The cardiologist was surprised to find that the other two blockages were only 50% and didn't have to place any other stints, the doctor told my wife and my good friend Pastor Bruce Leaman that a higher power had intervened.
We give God all the glory!
I want to thank all of those that prayed for me and my family during this time.
God bless!

Praise Report
Thank you All that Prayed for my wife, Sister Sylvia Hembree, she went to her Oncologist 01/04/07 and got a "GREAT REPORT" her blood test reveal a miracle has restored her red blood count to almost normal, but still a little small, her white blood count was actually higher than it has been in several years.
Her Dr. said she would not recomend any Prescriptions or any change, she wanted to see her again in two weeks. If everything continues to improve on its own that is what we want.
Praise God, we serve an awsome God, who graces us with unmerited favor and blessing.
Your fellow Laborers in Christ,
James & Sylvia Hembree

Thank you!
Dear Bro. Tahyi,
Five years ago, I was one of the ones on the prayer list. And this January I am celebrating being 5 years out from breast cancer. January 4th is when I had my "official" diagnosis, and my surgery was on January 29th. My last date of chemotherapy was the end of April.
I want to say Thank You from the bottom of my heart for all the prayer that went up for me 5 years ago. Each January that approaches, I remember very vividly the many changes my body, my spirit, and my family went through. And I give thanks for still being here and being able to function normally every day. I give God the praise and glory.
There were days after my surgery and into my treatments that I couldn't pray, but I knew that others were praying for me. I could literally feel the prayers. And having others prayers being said for me, I was able to face another day.
So this year, I celebrate passing the 5 year mark. I want to do it with all the gusto that I can muster up. On the 29th of January I'm going to praise and worship God loud and long for all the many blessings that He has given me through this test.
Praise God..............ain't He good?!
